Sometimes we become consumed with the everyday troubles (these, of course, do not include situations such as extreme illness, the passing of loved ones, etc.) which sometimes are blown way out of proportion. It is natural, and all together human, to become stressed out when life doesn't proceed as planned. All too often, however, we let these troubles weigh too heavily on our shoulders. We lose focus on the balance of life and forget about all the great experiences life has to offer.Rather, we should try to appreciate all that is going well in life, such as a child's laughter or an elderly couple holding hands. It is these types of moments that make the everyday issues trivial, allowing us to devote less energy to stress and worry, and more to life's little treasures.
